WRAP Ghana takes place in this former British Colony that was known as "the Gold Coast Crown Colony." It was the first West African colony to gain Independence and chose the name Ghana to reflect the ancient Empire of Ghana, which once extended throughout much of west Africa.
WRAP leaders will engage complex ideas and facts, and delve into Ghana's rich and ancient history with the arts, commerce and cultures. It will explore the world's largest man-made lake (Lake Volta) and the 2nd largest producer of Cocoa.
Ghana offers key insights into developing sub-Saharan Africa. WRAP participants will have the opportunity to engage with leaders locally and from abroad. A truly unique opportunity for training.

WRAP Ghana offers a unique point of departure for our leadership training. This West African nation, formerly known as "the Gold Coast Colony" was once the home of US Poet Laureate (and Oprah mentor) Maya Angelou. It welcomed the NAACP founder W.E.B. Dubois. And of course,is the ancestral home of the famed Asante peoples.
Ghana's complex colonial and post Independence history will give WRAP leaders a compelling opportunity to discover different models of leadership.
As a rapidly developing nation, Ghana offers a stock exchange and major universities that play key roles in its future.
